The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is offering a “stress free” time in Nakhon Ratchasima’s Khao Yai area during the upcoming long weekend.
Friday and Sunday (September 4 and 6) have been marked as public holidays to make up for the Songkran holiday people had to give up due to the outbreak.

Rungthip Buakoontod, TAT’s director for Nakhon Ratchasima-Chaiyaphum area, announced on Thursday that the tourism agency was getting ready to welcome visitors at the “Stress Free Festival @Khao Yai”. The event will be held at TAT’s eco-tourism learning centre in Pak Chong district’s Musi area.

More than 30 local handicraft shops will set up stalls, while visitors can also sample organic food, participate in eco-workshops, watch fashion and magic shows, enjoy concerts and even get their fortunes told.

The director said the event will be organised in line with the new normal and visitors will be limited to 2,000 people a day.
